Nykaa Nail Enamel Creme Brulee- Review

Hello dragons!
                 In today's post I'll be sharing my views about Nykaa nail polish in the shade Creme Brulee.

Nykaa.com has launched their own nail polish line which is available only at their website.
According to their website, these polishes are said to be 5 free and not animal tested.

Creme Brulee is a gorgeous nude polish with yellow undertones.

This bottle has an uncanny resemblance to Ciate nail polish bottle  (minus the bow).

The formulation of this polish is good,neither too thick or too runny.

The brush of the polish is long, thin,round,flexible and easy to work with.

It gives an opaque finish in two coats. The polish gives a glossy finish on drying.

I'm pretty much impressed by the staying power of this polish. I kept this polish on my nails
for about a week and it didn't chip at all.

LOTUS Herbals ECOSTAY Nail Enamel Candy Love- Review

In today's post I'll be reviewing LOTUS Ecostay nail enamel in the shade CANDY LOVE .
Lotus nail polishes are Toluene & DBP Free which is a plus point to these goodies.

CANDY LOVE is taffy pink colour. If your looking for a girlie nail colour,this would be a great option.

The polish comes in a 10 ml rectangular( rhombus-ish) shaped bottle with a sand textured silver top.

The formulation of this polish is OKAY . It gives an opaque finish in two coats.This polish dries into a glossy finish.
 The polish is easy to work with but I'm not really impressed with the brush of this polish.

The brush is VERY wide and the bristles are very dense. I personally like flat wide brushes but the brush of this polish is too wide and isn't flat so it's difficult to work with especially if you have narrow nail beds . I ended up flooding the polish on to my cuticles and it didn't looked KAWAII :P. If you have wide nail beds, you may not be annoyed with the brush.

I did notice the occasional appearance of bubbles with swatching on my pinkie nail but nothing to worry about since it can be fixed by going over it with the brush .

Overall I'd would like to say this is a pretty good polish for the price tag ( I bought mine from Myntra.com for Rs.165 during the discount sale )

L'ORÉAL Paris Color Riche Vernis 408 Exquisite Scarlet-Review

In today's post I'll be reviewing L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Vernis in the shade  408 Exquisite Scarlet.

I bought mine from Lifestyle store for Rs.235. It's also easily available online. 

Exquisite Scarlet is a bright red colour with a slight coral touch to it. It's such a gorgeous colour and looks luxurious on nails.

This polish comes in a 5ml bottle. The glass bottle has a mirrored golden top with L'Oreal embossed on it.

The wide brush of this polish helps in the easy application of the polish and covers the entire nail with just three strokes.

Let's talk about the formula of this polish.  This polish is definitely not a one coater but in two coats it gives a complete opaque finish. It goes smoothly on application without being patchy or streaky. This polish dries  to a smooth and glossy finish .Using a top coat adds even more glossiness to it.

This shade added a nice sheen to my fingers.I couldn't stop staring at my nails and I'm not even kidding!

The staying power of this polish is pretty average. On day 3, I noticed some minor chipping on my index finger nail so I would definitely recommend using a top coat to protect the colour.

Revlon ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel, 230 Bonsai -Review

Hello dragons !

Today I'm reviewing Revlon Colorstay  Longwear Nail Enamel in the shade -230 Bonsai.

This polish claims to be Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP free which is a good thing.

Bonsai is a nice green and gold duochrome polish.

                                           
I like the wide brush of this polish.It really helps to cover your whole nail without any problem.

The formulation of this polish is outstanding. It's neither too runny nor too thick. It's just perrrrfect.
The polish goes smoothly on nail without going streaky or patchy.

The polish is quite opaque in one coat but I applied two thin coats with Revlon Diamond Top coat over it.

The staying power of the polish ah-mazing! This polish was on my nails for 7 days and I didn't notice any signs of chipping while this on my nails but I did use the Revlon Diamond Top coat over.
